Philadelphia transit police strike

SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) transit police went on strike on Wednesday over a relatively minor wage issue, and were immediately replaced by Philadelphia PD officers and private security. Police labor actions are rare in general, and have been even less frequent during the recent recession.
