Frankly, I get tired of all this emphasis on fitness. What about the emphasis on using your brain without violating people’s rights? Cops tend to elevate situations instead of trying to defuse the situations not to mention their lack of the law is zero and then they tried to compensate it by citing imaginary laws off the top of their laws and/or file phoney baloney charges like failure to obey a police order or obstruction of a police officer in the performance of his duties when people call them out on the law. .

In the comment section regarding the Penn State Police, one person pointed out that the troopers couldn’t pass the fitness test even after two years on the job once they graduated from the academy. You wonder why some departments give out fitness pay when all their officers have to do is get a note from the doctor stating that they are fit? In the Britih Army, you don’t pass the fitness test every year, you are put on a three months warning order.
