Accusatory interviews

The risk that heavy-handed interrogations might lead suspects into false confessions is by now well known. This article reports a small experiment that found similar risks if witnesses are interviewed in a harsh or accusatory manner — they may provide false information and implicate innocent subjects.

    Did they ever do a study on Reid’s method 10 to 20 years later to see how well it was doing in police work after it was introduce in the 1950s?
