Interesting article. We are struggling in our state (Kentucky) with just this issue. My agency is testing various devices and in each case it boils down to training and muscle memory. The officer has to remember to turn it on and once on, is it easy to turn off during a struggle. My personal experience with any camera deployed on the streets has been the audio is much more reveling than the video. Maybe we should just go back to digital recorders? I don’t know.
