Laquan McDonald case in Chicago

This short public radio segment interviews one of the lawyers who worked for a year to achieve the release of the police video of the Laquan McDonald shooting in Chicago. He alleges not just a lack of transparency but a cover-up, including witness intimidation and erasure of video from a nearby Burger King.

    I heard Craig Futterman speak at a conference earlier this year, and he wasn’t bad for a plaintiff’s attorney/police accountability activist. Some of them can get a little carried away, but he was pretty reasonable.
